One of the employees at the restaurant asked us to post this. The place was quite freezing as it was rainning outside and under 50 degrees. However the restaurant never turned the heater on.
Came here right before closing on a Friday night. They told us last call was 45 minutes from when we were seated. I appreciated they told us in advance. The quality of meat was good and I enjoyed the smaller portions so we were able to try a variety of meats. The softbound (tofu soup) was excellent!
Excellent food and service! I had an issue with the valet parking, but the owner himself went out of his way to fix the issue and make sure I was happy. Can't wait to go back!
Where to begin...the food was overpriced and chewy and lacked freshness and flavor. The interior was freezing and our server gave us attitude when we asked if we could turn the heat up. After that, our servers hardly came by our table to refill our water or give us the side dishes we asked for. Very long wait times. When we tried to give constructive feedback to the owner, he shut us down rudely. Now, looking at his response to other reviews that mention the same bad service, I can see that he always copies/pastes the same generic answer: \We apologize that our service did not satisfy your expectations. We set a high standard for ourselves and are truly sorry to hear that standard was not met in your interaction with our business. Your happiness is our number one priority\ What a load of BS. All in all, very disappointed in this place. Don't understand what the hype is about, as there are many better gopchang places in Ktown that have cheaper prices, tastier food, and nicer service. And to top it all off...If you have a nice car DO NOT VALET, they scratched and dented my car and denied any responsibility even though they clearly scratched it parking alongside the wall of the building in the small, narrow alley.
