Beautiful bookstore lined with colorful tomes of varying sizes. This is an iconic landmark, and was celebrated as such. I thick that selling used/rare books might add some character to the place, but I understand their need to make an honest living and keep it running. I bought three books and the proprietor was very friendly and we had a good chat about Richard Brautigan's \Trout Fishing in America\ (sorry, no underline).

Cute bookstore! It's exactly what you would expect from a nice local bookstore with shelves and shelves of different categories. I liked the different rooms and the basement. The only thing about this store in particular was that I thought their selection is not that large. They were missing many book categories.

This is a little bookstore located in the middle of downtown LA! There are 3 levels. I can easily spend the entire afternoon hanging out here. Environment is very pleasant as it was very quiet. There are limited seating throughout the store. The building is old, historical, and full of characters. They do not have a large collection of books, but good enough for me to spend an afternoon here. They also included \staff pick\ as recommendation for good reads!
