This place is as cheap as all those dollar sushi places on sawtelle minus all the long wait. The quality is great and the service is good as well. I don't bother waiting in line for the popular places anymore when i come to sawtelle
Lots of parking space, close to South Coast Plaza. Service is good, food quality is good.Sashimi & Sushi are fresh taste good. Music is ok。
This is now our favorite sushi place. As my husband says, it is a dictionary of flavors! Unlike most sushi restaurants that only serve the same, same but different kind of sushi, this place really has some new and interesting items. Although there is a conveyor belt going around, unless its really busy, most of the sushi you just order directly from the chef or server. If you want to try a REALLY spicy but full of flavor sushi roll, you must try the Fire Roll (you can tell them your heat level: 1 -10). Unlike most really spicy rolls, this one is yummy not just hot. Have nothing but good things to say for this place.
By far my favorite sushi place in LA. Been coming here for 4 years now. Bruce, the sushi chef, is awesome and comes up with some great items not on the menu. Fresh fish and very reasonable prices. Definitely sit in a booth by the bar, if you can, so you aren't left with slim pickings.

It's really delicious, tested the spicy tuna on fried rice, sushi tuna, sushi eel and popcorn lobster on tuna roll, it was amazing. A little more expensive than Kula, just on the other side on Sawtelle, but better and no wait. The waiters and the cook were really nice, 2-hour parking validation, you couldn't wish for more.
