Open for parking lot dining. They're running it as a buffet, self-serve and all. When you go in to the buffet line, you wear a mask and put on the disposable gloves they have at the start of the line. The path is mostly one-way to maximize social distancing.

Unfortunately two years ago at this place was one of my best buffet experiences for money.. great sushi, amazing steak, great mongolian bbq, adequate salad bar nice desserts. Walked in today around afternoon to find the steak/mongolian bbq area closed and blocked off. Hopefully things will recover. I feared the giant Target building on corner of Sunset and Western would interfere. Luckily it has not. Good Luck.

LOVE this buffet! The selection is so i amazing and delicious! My boyfriend and I just ate here and it was his first experience at a place where they prepare the chow mein in front of you. He was so impressed. One of my favorite Hollywood Spots to recommend for a chill date on a hungry day lol

Ask for Dre he was an amazing server and on point. We never had to ask him for anything. I would come back again. Made the experience at Tao a really good one will come back.

Unfortunately, COVID did a number on this business. The quality of food isn't very good, and nor is the quantity. Most of the food were gone and it didn't seem like the kitchen could keep up with the demand. Only saving grace was the crawfish and oysters. Everything else made me feel unease to the taste. The price just didn't justify the food.
