Koutoubia is a Moroccan restaurant located at Westwood blvd. The interior decor is well designed and conceived which somehwhat transports you back in Morocco. The atmosphere is inviting and cozy. Indoor seating is somewhat limited but very comfortable. We came here as a group and we pretty much occupied half of the restaurant. They have belly dancers as enterteinment. Food is very good. Drinks are composed of cocktails, wine and beer. Price is on the high end. Overall, we had a great time and I highly recommend it.

This place is just like every other Senegalise place you've ever eaten. What ? Come on !!! You mean you don't eat West African food everyday. Me neither and this joint set the bar rather high. Fresh drinks, interesting plates.

Jean Michel has been owner for 40 years. He was clearly the cook and server and still manages to be a pleasant personality. I had the chicken cous cous which was filling, tasty but a little dry. Also ordered chicken pie appetizers which were divine and baklava and mint tea for dessert. Very intimate -- could be romantic ...
