They never ever keep their appointments. They also lie, claiming that the client missed the appointment. They create so much misery for people who are already struggling due to disability. When you try to call them to resolve it they don't answer the phone. If you wait on hold an hour you might reach someone but that person will give you incorrect information and you will have to start the process over again. It's a fulltime job managing them and I don't have energy. I am a Covid Long Hauler. Disgusting how they treat the poor.

No word can explain the struggle I go through when I need help

If you get \BONNIE LASTRA\ WORKER ID 19DP606D04 from Culver City as your worker, beware she does not respond to questions. She’s a heartless vet of 30 years and thinks special circumstances especially during covid are nonexistent. These are comments per her Coworkers. so you can try as many times as you want once she decided you do not deserve the benefits, she will not help. Bonnie who are you to judge?

Their Phone system is impossible to navigate, and with COVID, they aren't open to walk in. This makes it torturous for me to find an actual Human Being to process information. makes me want to tear my hair out.

I want to take a second to personally thank the great state of California and a especially a caseworker named Heather Davis. My son and I are from Oklahoma and we came here to escape domestic violence and abuse and to stay with family but ended up stranded living in our car. I know it was just a normal day at the office for Mrs. Davis but the love and kindness she showed my son and I while we were there and then expediting our case so that we could sleep in a warm bed tonight and finally get some good food will always be what we remember most about moving to California. Thank you Mrs. Davis and God Bless you! And God Bless LA!
