Great support helping me and answering all my questions! I called the number, left my call back number and got a call back in about 15 min! Lester was extremely helpful to me in finding the forms I needed for cash for keys, and in understanding them, as well as warning me not to give the cash until the 30 days expires! Good service deserves recognition! Thank you!

Lester answered my call this morning (11/20) and was amazing! He greeted me so kindly, was patient and compassionate listening to my concerns about our slumlord and multiple violations at our building, and gave me thorough information so I could take next steps. I know how overwhelmed our city representatives are with the added challenges of COVID, but have never felt rushed or disrespected by any of the HCID phone reps as I called a few times in the past weeks regarding multiple concerns. I want to thank Lester for being so kind (and to HCID for having an efficient and convenient call back process!) for making this terrible situation my fellow tenants and I are going through a little easier!

Covid 19 has been stressful on all of us, but the representative that I spoke to from the call center was patient, knowledgable, kind, and thorough. Thanks, Daniel! He helped me understand my rights and helped me understand the state and local laws. Seriously so helpful! He also said that the the HCID LA will go to bat for tenants when landlords do something illegal. I'm so grateful to live in a city with such great tenant protection!
