I miss the Zoo because of the pandemic. I was just thinking about it, and that we can't go because it is closed due to the pandemic. Can't wait until it opens again. It is a Fantastic place to take the wife and kids. We love it for two reasons. The kids are totally entertained and we all get a lot of exercise. It is a big place, so be sure to wear your running/walking shoes. They have so many animals, a good variety. And, you are really close up to most of the animals. They all look healthy and well taken care of.

Fun to go with friends and family enjoying the day and eat around. Seeing amazing animals learning about their habitat. My favorite part of the zoo is the BIRD SHOW have to see it again. Once they open up.

Great little zoo! There are many exhibits that are mixed species and absolutely wonderful! My favorite was the tropical bird and reptile exhibit and the big cat yard! The free roaming peacocks was also a treat. It's good to see some exhibits getting renovations and the animals all had awesome enrichment!! The staff really care about the animals and took time to make the experience special for me.

I haven't been here since I was a child and wow what a beautiful zoo. They did a really great job abiding by the state regulations as well. As well everyone attending doing the same and maintaining social distance. On a selfish note I loved that there were a limited amount of people allowed in the zoo. I was able to comfortably see the animals and stroll around the park with out having to look over peoples shoulders to see the animals and what not.

It was a pretty hot day in LA today (90 something degrees F) and most of the animals was facing away or trying to find a spot to hide from the hot sun (which is totally understandable, yet, frustrating). My pick point was the staff. Ther were so nice, friendly and every time you approached them with a question, they always have a smile upon their faces. They were amazing. Is a very nice place to come visit. Is beautiful, charming....I will definitely come back often. P.S: they didn't have the Lion at the moment. Apparently, he was too old and passed away, and they didn't find a replacement to him. #Rip
