I struggled learning to code on my own. Maxine Waters Employment Preparation Center provided a great environment to learn how to code. This is a very INTENSE program but working with others and having instructors to reference makes the experience all worthwhile. I'd definitely recommend the program to those who are sure they want to become a web app developer.

Just the attempt to do good is always a good foundation to stand on . I am proud of you Mrs. Maxine Waters and I will have someone send you a nice and regal birthday present. God bless you and much continued success.

I went in for the CNA program and did fine in the medical terminology course. The actual CNA training course was a disaster. The teacher was beyond her years and a lot of times the information given to us was inaccurate. She would fall asleep and have trouble remembering. She wanted to retire but they couldn’t find anybody willing to teach the course. The students in the class were all women and the environment was very hostile due to little to no supervision. Tests were cheated and so were assignments. I was attacked by a student who was not supposed to be attending because she could no longer afford the program. When I was asked by security and principal to explain what happened, I did so. I was told, even though I was attacked, that there was a no fighting tolerance at the school and was kicked out. The school said that they would call me with the police report about the incident and I never heard from them again. I called many times to get in contact with the dean and was given the run around when I mentioned the altercation. This school traumatized me and my mother. The woman that tried to pull out my eyeball and bit my face was not charged. I don’t stand by this school and wish it was closed down.

Honestly this is really good school, teachers and staff and office staff are really nice. I really recommend this school if you try to finish your high school diploma, nor your GED. I'm still coming to finish my high school diploma and become a sonography.

Great staff who are eager to share knowledge, well funded programs and plenty of hands on for the CTE programs.
