Words can't describe how super rad Susie is. She went above and beyond the first day I called her. I had an appt with someone else to get my current we've taken out and replace with microring extensions. I'm not gonna lie I had a very particular look I was planning on getting and pretty much dead set at that idea. We'll this dream of A lady not only told me to come on over ,did I mention it was almost 3:00 on a Sunday afternoon and I wanted a full we've renoval, color, brand nee install and nore color.... she was very upfront aNd honest , my idea was not a resonable idea or one that was going to be achieved with what I was working with, nothing, Long story short she spent her Sunday making me feel pretty and was able to put together something while we waited for the hair I ordered to arrive. I went back for a reinstall to put in the hair I ordered and some. Neverdisappointed. Love Susie. Did I mention she super rad , very laid back and extremely reasonable. Would recommended her100times over again to whoever will listen

My story is, I began getting extensions when numerous steroid injections after a car accident caused my hair to thin, and, between that and just getting older, it just never got back to what it was. My hair was short and thin and I no longer looked like to myself. I stopped wanting to go out or even felt I could dress up. At first, I found someone good, though she was very far, busy, and expensive, who helped for a while. But it was stressful not to be able to get into see her when i needed to. And then I found My Secret Hair. Susie helped me with the extensions I had, at first, which needed constant repairs. I thought that's just how it was. But then, she redid my hair using her method (she has a few methods), and I didn't have a single hair emergency that needed repair in between appointments. This last time, we added a new kind of hair this time and my hair looks even fuller and more natural. But not only does my hair look great, Susie is an amazing person who really cares about whether I love my hair. It's a pleasure to go to her. She has gone out of her way to accommodate me so many times I can't count. She is an oasis of kindness and integrity in a large city where one can't always count on it. I'm posting a couple photos I don't love of me where my hair is more visible. I'll update the photos with my new hair after I wash it. But all I can say is, if you've been thinking about extensions and are worried about the expense or are worried about being charged by the current state of your hair, I can assure you that My Secret Hair is the right place to go. If you've made a New Year's resolution to engage in self-care and make yourself happy for a change, go see Susie. I cannot say enough about how great she is. I am not exaggerating when I say meeting her was life-changing.

Ok so let me start by saying this is an unsolicited review and I really almost never write reviews! However, I really did feel I had to share my amazing experience with Susie, even at the risk of her no longer remaining the best kept hair secret in LA! I have been so many super fancy salons and spent thousands of dollars but she is by far one of the most talented hair stylists I have come across. I get extensions and blonde color and honestly, she is a magician. She is not only skilled but she listens, is helpful, gives great advice (TRUST HER btw, I was initially stubborn but bc I trusted her my hair looks and feels better and more natural than it has in years. Seriously, even people close to me will be like "what? I didn't you had extensions...." The type of extensions she specializes in are so much gentler on my hair than tape ins and the quality of hair she has access to is exceptional quality. Don't hesitate to see her!!
