I’ve been trying to get a hold of a supervisor since November 2019 when our caseworker ghosted us after getting us into a HUD Apartment. We were promised that our deposit would be paid and that we would receive furniture. I signed paperwork for both of these things but copies weren’t given to me. I didn’t want to harass Path too much because I’m very grateful for the help we did get, they placed us in a hotel for 4 months until we were able to qualify for this apartment and we are still stable and housed over a year later. Something I’ve never been able to have before in my life. However, since we are in a pandemic and too broke to pay it and our lease is up, we are unable to claim the section 8 vouchers that are owed to us until the deposit is paid. I’ve tried finding other organizations to help, but they tell me they need an answer from PATH as to why PATH didn’t pay it when they promised to. It’s 1000, and I was hoping to pay it with our stimulus but we haven’t gotten it and it looks like we won’t. The building caseworker here, Gloria (from People’s Concern) has been calling for a year and never gets a reply and so has the caseworker, Christina from Amanacer. Is there any way we can get a hold of someone who can help?

The organization that is focused on solving problems of homeless people. Our society is in deep need of such like organizations and people who care for community. There are a lot of organizations that claim to solve issues of homeless people but actually they focused on making money while pretending to be honest, but the only “honesty” is there greed. Thank you PATH for helping people and serving community. A
I am so grateful for the services I have received from PATH which started seven years ago. Seven years ago I underwent Pancreatic Surgery which led to my becoming homeless due to not being able to work/provide for Myself I was so ill. PATH assisted me with litteraly everything from clothing to work preparation, from assisting me with apartment listings to obtaining my very own place and helped me furnish it. Still, after exiting PATH years ago, I feel fortunate to have Case Managers who continually extend a phone call or card to this day and offer Assistance/Support if I should happen to need it or be connected/referred to a service or program that encourages Self Development and Reliance and be an active, positive contributing member to society and in the community in which I reside. Words are not enough and simply can't express how grateful I truly am for this place, it saved my life.... THANK YOU SO MUCH PATH!
If I could put no stars I would and that's all I will say. PATH put my father(USMC) and I on the street , stayed a year being homeless right across the street from PATH. My father and I ended up getting a place without their help. Very thankful for my new home.
