My first time here and everything was excellent. Live jazz, I loved it. The food was supreme. The personnel were inviting and professional starting with curbside valet parking, they helped us take pictures and were very friendly. The staff on the inside took over from there, courteous and helpful. They go out of their way to make you feel special. The live music was top notch. This was a very memorable evening. Thank you Pips On Labrea!

We had brunch here over the weekend and it was amazing. The service was a little slow and no one greeted us for about 10 minutes at our table but the food was so good it made up for it. The owner mike took our order and recommended the French toast so I went with that. You have to try this French toast. It's like the softest piece of bread ever (I think it was sourdough) and the sasauge was also good. Didn't try the salmon eggs Benedict but my friend seemed to like it. Oh - I also tried the pancakes and they were pretty tasty too. So happy to have found a nearby brunch spot without lines around the block!

I went in with very low expectations, but boy was I surprised. First off, the service was fantastic; everyone was so nice & accommodating, especially with my mom who is on a medically restricted diet. The food was really good: everyone at our table loved their meal and finished everything. The wine menu was decent.

Fantastic food. Great service. We enjoyed the smoked chicken salad sandwich, meatloaf, beet salad and the beef dip - the last few times we've been for dinner. They do only serve beer - so if you want a glass of wine or to bring your own wine, you can't. The patio is so nice but would be so much nicer with a glass of rose....with that chicken salad sandwich...

The brunch was 50 w/tip & tax per person. And, we received it for 35 because the food was cold and was not pleasant. The shrimp & grits had no flavor/seasoning. The cocktails were decent in strength. The reason even for a 2 star is that the ambiance was nice and the service. But, other than that I would not have been able to rate them with a star.

This is a very classy wine and beer lounge in the downtown area. It's in the little plaza that you walk through on the way to the old MOMA location.

Listening to smooth jazz by The David Leech Trio while sipping on a Tom Collins or an Amaretto sour. Enjoying time with the family- who could ask for more? Our foursome ordered a meal of, whitefish, lobster, steak and a rack of lamb for one of our few remaining evenings in LA. The David Leech Trio played all my favorites. It was lovely. I'll tell my friends and return the next time I'm in town.

Pips did an outstanding job making my friends birthday special. Our reservations were confirmed and I had numerous questions which they replied in a timely manner. I was extremely pleased and impressed with the care and thoughtful gestures. Our service was exceptional and food was delicious!! Thank you Pips for having us. We will be seeing you again very soon!!
