This place is amazing! The quality is up there with Sushi Gen and the top tier sushi places in my opinion. You definitely pay for the quality as the portions are smaller than your standard sushi restaurant but it is well worth it. I have been several times and nothing has disappointed me. I am working my way through the menu. At the time of writing this review they are also donating proceeds on Wednesdays to ArmeniaFund which is admirable, so make sure to go on Wednesdays!

I celebrated my PhD today in this great restaurant. I am glad to say that we enjoyed a delightful evening and the venue was absolutely the reason for the strong celebration. The waiters collaborated in a very nice way, the food was yummy and my guests were very thrilled. We shall definitely visit again for more events. Thank you very much.

I love seaweed. On anything. Especially when it's crispy and fresh like Seaweed Sushi Bar/Hand Roll Bar ! It seems like this place is always busy, but don't fret because service is fast. After putting in my order, it felt like I was waiting no more than 2 minutes before the first hand roll appeared right before my eyes. I ordered the 6 hand roll set, which included: toro, yellowtail, scallop, salmon, blue crab, and lobster. I loved all of them, especially the toro and lobster. I wouldn't suggest ordering these to go because the seaweed would be really soggy, but I don't imagine it to taste bad. Just a little chewy, so it's better that you dine in, so you can have it fresh with a perfect crunch!

This place has a cool concept. The hand rolls are placed in front of you seconds after being rolled so the rice is warm and the nori is still crisp. If you're in the area and craving fast (if there isn't a wait) and high quality sushi, this is the spot. I went for the 5 rolls and left satisfied in terms of the amount, not too much, not too little. I think for those with bigger appetites, you'd need to get the 5 roll option plus add more to be full. Between Sugarfish and Seaweed Sushi Bar/Hand Roll Bar, I'd choose Sugarfish as the vinegary rice at Sugarfish is more craveworthy.

The hand rolls were shockingly tasty! I was skeptical considering the price per roll, but I was definitely wrong. These hand rolls are worth the money. I especially thought that the seared scallop is the hidden gem of Seaweed. The roll has a surprising kick from the vegetables used, but it was a wonderful edition to the meal. I would highly suggest coming here with a small group of friends. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the chefs are attentive and friendly to customers. I would definitely come back! It is worth the traffic and tight parking.
