Such a cool historic place to peruse when you need to kill some time in North Beach (probably for a reservation at a great restaurant nearby). I love how there are 3 floors and all the stairs and wooden floors are super creaky. It's like you can hear how old the place is.

I've visited Sideshow's on many occasions and always come away with at least one new and interesting book that I hadn't heard of before. They have a great translated fiction section, great recommendations, and I like that they organize fiction by world regions so you can look for something you wouldn't find elsewhere.
