This is truly authentic Korean cooking, as all of the kitchen staff has immigrated straight from the country. Decent side dishes. Chicken was tasty but the baby back ribs were fatty and chewy. I liked they use charcoal. Disliked that we could order an entree only if we ordered two meats to bbq. Good customer Service.

The OG real charcoal Korean BBQ joint for LA; the long waits of 20 years ago when this was THE LA Korean BBQ place are a memory; the food is still great. If you are going somewhere after, you do need to bring a change of clothes (no foolin').

The food quality here is really good and the wood chips used on the fire makes them really shine. One order of meat is almost like 2 person order at some of the other barbecue places in town. Most of the issue is with the lack of attentive table service and the need to keep asking for things. If you care mostly about food quality, this place is fine. However Koreatown has so many barbecue places, if you cannot provide decent attention to your customers you will lose out to the competition. Secondly the interior needs some upgrade as it looks like a restaurant from the 1970's.

Nice to experience something different. Lovely meat grilled in front of you with an interesting range of vegetable dishes as accompaniments. Friendly service from a close team.
