I have been producing theatre productions in Los Angeles for more than 20 years - and it was so nice to come back to the Adler! Our festival \SHORT SWEET\ ran for 3 weeks, with 62 plays and 300 actors. I don't think any other theatre space could handle such an insane (and exciting) festival. We are so grateful - and I cannot wait to come back there to produce more show.

Susan Hathaway

A Drama School named after Actress Stella Adler. Stella Adler (February 10, 1901 – December 21, 1992) was an American actress and acting teacher. Teaches classes for the Dramatic Arts on Acting. I have attended several productions over the years from the graduating students. Several of Hollywood's known Actor's and Actress have studied there and their pictures grace the walls of the upper levels. Many have now moved on to Film and Television.

This is such a fantastic school with proper training. Many of the teachers are notable working actors, playwrights, directors, and producers. They are extremely generous and devoted to furthering the success of their students. My work has improved dramatically since coming here, and I continue to get so much support. It's especially useful for actors that have had a lot of experience and training. The teachers here will help you get more consistent and deeper with your work. I love this school and the community so much!

Stella might not be flashy or the biggest school out there but it has soul and passion in every wall, so big that the building might not hold it. Everyone in the school has a love for the craft so devoted that it only makes yours grow. The structure of the program is perfect, bringing challenge after challenge to overcome. The way of teaching matches the expectation forgetting about classrooms and focusing on experiences, making you grow in life and as an actor. Simply the best. Thank you Stella.
