Not many vendors left in here, and also I haven't tried any of the food from the couple eateries here. Don't want to try them, ha. Not that I've seen anything that put me off. No. But I'm wary of eating from a swap-meet eatery. For good reason. Used to find some things to buy from here up until 2013 or so (shoes, mostly). Back in the 1990s you could most likely find more things to buy here than you can these days, it was one of the local spots for many local people, they had a lot of people coming by back then to shop. Now you will see only few people browsing/shopping, and a small number of vendors left. They still have some interesting toys, including Marvel and DC Superhero toys and figures, Dinosaur toys, creature toys---so probably worth a look for toys. But I haven't bought any toys or such figures from this swap meet since the mid or early 1990s. I'm not much of a toy/figurine collector. For clothes, no interesting clothes here anymore, and there are no more shoe vendors. They have some live animals for sale at a little pet shop inside. Poor little animals!

I came to this swap meet since 2005 and it was a great place where you got a haircut, pet stores, fabrics and even had a place to eat there even gaming store. This place is to be soon to be torn down and is already shut down which is sad news and is to be replaced by a seven story apartment building. Farewell to this swap meet (1986-2020) :( This place is no longer available and is soon to be torn down.
Word has it that the building has been sold, hence the possible reason half of the spaces were vacant. Otherwise. The few tenants struggle to make sales. Unbelievable how they stay open for business as there isn't much traffic. A nice small swapmeet for very specific items...not a great variety.
This place is no longer open for public. The retail stores are closing and moving to a new location. So don't waste your time by caming at this swap meet.
This place is a gas. (Do people still say that? ... other than me, that is.) Dozens of small shops of every description and an eatery or two (these change fairly often but are frequently good), all in one building and all with fantastic prices because their lease payments are low and they pass the savings on to you. You can't get groceries here, but just about everything else, from clothes and shoes to watches, keys and odds & ends. It's actually a pretty decent place to take a stroll even if you have no interest in buying anything.
This place has been around since I was a kid and it's always had a very small selection to choose from you have to be specific,i use to go for white tees... Closing down..
Union Swapmeet I had a great experience, eating Korean food for lunch after I checked out the shops! Clothing for Women, Men, Children. Jewelry and Jewelry Repair, Shoes and Shoe Repair, Hair stylists, Acupuncture, Fragrances, Makeup, Birds, Fish, Bicycles. Great prices and deals... and so much more to see!
My review applies only to the tailor. The tailor is terrible. They didn’t complete the work I paid for. Didn’t even bother to finish the stitching, leaving the seam on the back of my pants open. The work they did do to my other pair of pants looks so shoddy I won’t bother returning to make them finish the incomplete work. I would post a pic if I could. I should have known since, as I was leaving, they were arguing with another customer who was also complaining of poor quality work. Too bad its cash only so I cant dispute charges through my credit card.
