A hidden gem located in Griffith park, the volunteers here celebrate and carry the legacy of Walt Disney and his love for trains. The barn is restored and furnished with countless artifacts highlighting his interest in trains and his joy in sharing that with others. The location is opened once a month on the 3rd Sunday (1st Sunday offered during the summer months) and free parking is available in the adjacent lot.

It was very interesting to learn about walt's love of trains. I would recommend getting here early, before 11am. They didnt let us in until 11:15, but it was packed. they have some exclusive items for purchase as well. Very kid friendly. Free!

Very long wait for a very small place. I never got to see the inside of the barn due to the long line.

Awesome place! Great history and learning about the early days of Walt's fascination with model railroads which lead to the creation of Disneyland.

It was very beautiful. I personally love the telegram and the train models they have inside. It is a wonderful place to visit with friends and family. They have some of Walt Disney's belongings and some of his own documents related to purchasing and forming the train station. He loved trains and even made this gorgeous place. I love it and I personally recommend this place.

This was a neat experience with the family, best part it was free. Definitely worth checking out. It is a very laid back event and definitely has the Disney vibes. Check out the east entrance to take a train ride around the park.
