Oh my goodness. Gustavo and his crew were amazing. I had about six little projects that they completed well over a couple of days. He was responsive via cell when it came to arrival time. Upon completion we walked the jobs and I was assured that it was done well. On the morning of the second day, our school lost lighting. He took time to troubleshoot the problem and found an electrical fire. Amazing to have such a professional team.

I was installing a new hot water tank for our coffee shop and was stumped when it came to the wiring. I was fairly certain I had things wired up correctly but didn't want to risk a 1000 machine. I called Scott and he was extremely helpful. He managed to help me figure everything out over the phone with a little research and a few questions, plus he didn't even charge me. With his help I was able to correct a mistake I had made in my wiring and everything is working great. Thanks Scott!
I texted Scott yesterday to schedule service. (Always great when businesses are able to communicate via text these days - it really simplifies everything.) I'm replacing an old dishwasher and my old wiring was not up to code. Gabriel arrived promptly at 8:30 this morning with a friendly and cheerful attitude. He put down his tarps to protect my floors and got right to work installing the new outlet. That was the easy part! During the course of his work, Gabriel discovered that the breaker for the dishwasher was only putting out 25 V instead of 120 V. He tried in several different ways to fix it, but the breaker was just old and worn out. I am glad that Gabriel discovered this problem now before it could have affected my new dishwasher. West LA electric will return after the weekend to install the new breaker and also a couple motion sensor lights. Both Gabriel and Scott were communicative, responsive, and friendly! Their prices are fair when you consider the fact that their work is insured and I would rather pay a slight premium for work that is done right and backed by a business owner and a tight-knit team who care about their reputation. This is the sort of thing that will save you time and money in the long run. West LA Electric has been added to my contacts and will be my go-to choice for electrician services from here on out.
I've worked with Scott and team for a few years now (adding new power outlets indoor and outdoor, installing and replacing light fixtures etc). They are always professional and courteous.
