Fantastic food. Great yakitori and menu options. Will update review with more details soon. They have only been open for 5 days, be sure to check them out before there's a line out the door. Beats driving an hour to Little Tokyo and looking for parking for another 30 min. Save yourself the headache and use that parking fee for another beer.

Don't come here if you want Japanese food. We ordered beef curry and unagi don by phone. They told me the food will be ready in twenty minutes but when I got there i had to wait fifteen minutes more. That's no big deal, but there really weren't much there. I don't think they started to prepare my food until i got there. The unagi don at old Showa Izakaya was a lot better than this one. I don't know how the place got replaced by this nonsense. They even changed nothing from Showa Izakaya, same decor and same tables. How convenient. I mean, have you ever seen any unagi don with raw onions which ruined unagi's flavor and non seasoned scrambled egg, then with no sauce at all?? And the same onions and egg in our beef curry. Not cool. The restaurant is just like their sister store Ten Ramen. No proper food and a whole bunch of faked reviews on yelp.
It is great place to eat. It is not crowded, the food is really good for the money you are paying. The salad besides it is really simple is delicious, the side dishes are good too and you can repeat if you need more. For the meat, spicey pork bbq is great. The customer service is kind and helpful. They are very attentive.
They opened recently and still didn't gain their audience yet. I had couple different skewers and they were just great. But beef curry was a bit disappointing, with not much curry and lots of white rice.
