Extremely disappointed with the customer service. Once the order is placed, good luck with the schedule. You are at their mercy. They never return phone calls. We have spent a fortune and ordered shades for entire home from Los Gatos store. After a month, we only received shades for two rooms. We have to keep calling them multiple times and we will be lucky if someone answers or return our calls. They do not care about what they promised when we put an order. We regret going to this store and trusting them. We crossed our fingers now when our products will be installed. Stay away and save your money and mental peace.!!!

We bought window shades for our whole house here. We worked with Paul S. who provided great feedback and was extremely patient with us as we went back and forth trying to decide which window treatments to get. We're delighted with our new window shades and would highly recommend working with Paul and The Shade Store.
Stay away from this store. They are not serious about the quality of product and service and customer's concerns at all! We ordered draperies for two doors. One drapery is too long, and the hanging rod is bent. The other drapery is still not installed after 2 months although the salesman promised 3-week production and installation time. The installation is really ridiculous! The schedule is by its HQ in NY. They just cancelled appointment as they wish or just simply not showing up. And try to call the HQ, good luck if you can ever get through. We are so regretful for ordering from this store. We will definitely tell our interior designer to stop recommending to her clients.
I wanted to install draperies in a dining room that has a very high, curved ceiling. I wasn't sure that anyone could make and install drapes for such a difficult project. Fortunately, Mr. Burruss made the process simple. I just had my window treatments installed and the drapes are stunning! They are so dramatic and really transform the dining room. It is very difficult to install drapes on such a high ceiling, but Ken and Jose could not have been nicer or more helpful. They did a great job and were a pleasure to work with. The drapes are well made and hang perfectly, just touching the floor. Perfect! I am very pleased with my beautiful custom drapes and would recommend The Shade Store.
The Shade Store offers many design options and combinations. We were delighted to work with MarySue. She professionally presented our options and explained the process from selection to install. She extended herself by sending us photos of potential designs so we could better understand our vision. We are extremely pleased with our final design and believe it was mainly due to MarySue's patience, professionalism and guidance.
The Shade Store in Palo Alto and Los Gatos were more than helpful in getting us the expertise and consultation services we needed to make our remodel complete using their services and Shade solutions. Paul made several onsite visits to ensure that we would be completely satisfied.
