I found George on the internet. His card said he was 11 y/o but didn't mention that he weighed 17 pounds. I paid 10 for him. When I took him for his free vet. check-up i just happened to choose his previous vet. She told me that he was really 11 y/o and that the lump that the shelter attempted to drain was really a nasty form of cancer. I have had him for 3 1/2 years now and I love him to death. I am so happy that I adopted him. He has been a mellow roommate for me.

This place used to have a great staff. The adoption portion of the facility used to look amazing a few years ago and was clean. Now it has gone downhill and it seems like the whole facility has. There's one particular worker (skinny red haired lady) that is so rude and unprofessional and needs to learn some people skills! This shelter needs to learn customer service and badly!!!!! Stop giving rescues all of the better looking dogs especially when you book appointments with the general public to see the same dogs but fail to notify them that the dog was already sent to rescue before showing up to see the dog

After this shelter euthanized my dog because he was “aggressive” I tried to go adopt a dog and as soon as I got there, there was a male that was of the bat very rude and extremely unhelpful. The male and the lady showing us the dogs were like trying to get us to leave quicker. Blaming us that because we were there they had to wait to feed the dogs even though they are the ones who agreed to that time. Didn’t answer our questions and about the puppies. Horrible service. If they don’t like their job then leave. It’s not hard
