We got a nice amount of meat from the animal. The butcher they used worked out well, they were both helpful with our newbie questions.... and we realized we still have some things to learn about what cuts to get, but I think we got really close to everything good. I split this with a friend and so far, based on the experience, we'll be doing this again when we start to get low. I appreciate the time and work they put into doing such a great job in raising good meat, answering questions and making the process as simple as you do. Absolutely worth every penny and worth telling others about it.
Excellent experience - I highly recommend ordering a full or half cow from Travis and his team. From start to finish, Travis was super responsive on email and the process was so easy. I had the meat in about a month for a half cow portion, which is so much faster than other farms I've purchased from. Their butcher was spot-on as well. Los Molinos Meats walked me through the cut list, asking preference questions along the way. I was intimidated by having to provide a cut list, but they guide you through it pretty quickly on the phone. Pick up took less than 10 minutes (after the 2 hr drive lol). If you're on the fence, go for it! The prices are completely reasonable and the meat is so tender and just damn tasty!
I was so impressed with the process. I worked with Travis from TX Bar Grassfed Cattle who stayed in touch with any updates. The quality of the steaks, and the ground beef was excellent, and the steaks..... Ever so tender. BTW.. A&R custom butchering did a great job on all of my cuts....
I ordered some meat from this company and I have to say, it was the best beef i have ever had. My order included a half cow. It came nicely packaged / labeled and the meat had wonderful flavor. This time I'm getting the whole cow! The manager made sure I was satisfied the whole time and is an excellent company to do business with.
