We first used GreenTree in 2015, after we'd moved into a new home with lovely old trees. Ryan, our estimator, was professional, explained what needed to be done and why, and provided a reasonable estimate. I really appreciated his willingness to explain tree health to me. The crew that did the work was punctual, clean, and efficient. Fast forward 5 years, and I called for an (overdue) estimate to cleanup/check on our trees. Hannah came out on a trip she had near us, and, similar to Ryan, confirmed that our trees are healthy, except for one that I knew needed attention. Not only did she not say that we needed any work (even trimming up the little bit of normal deadwood), she recommended a \home remedy\ of tree fertilizer stakes and attention to watering that might rectify our ailing but beautiful cedar before we take any more drastic action, and a follow up visit from her in 3 months. Again, professional, clearly very knowledgeable, and trustworthy. We will absolutely be calling GreenTree again for any of our tree health needs.

I hired Green Tree to do some residential work for me. It was an overgrown abandoned estate house. The crews spent several days there trimming, cutting back and evaluating the trees on site. We were able to uncover some amazing things, like a garden shed that was not even visible from the back yard when we started, and an enormous old oak tree that can now grow unencumbered for decades to come. Many trees were cut down, many many piles of brush were chipped and hauled off. The guys were actually relentless in doing their job. They wasted no time. Green Tree has completed a very complex and time consuming project for me and I couldn't be happier with the professionalism and service that I received.
My neighbor's very large oak tree was dropping dead limbs onto my roof. I have renters with children in the home, and was concerned for their safety, as well as roof damage. Justine in the office emailed me right away about scheduling an estimate, and Dan called first thing on Monday to work with me. After explaining my situation, Dan understood my concerns, viewed my property within an hour of our first call, provided an extremely reasonable estimate that I jumped on, and brought his team out the same afternoon. Dan and his team were diligent in preserving the tree, while cutting the dead and major branches that were leaning over my house. They were very friendly, eager to work, reasonably priced, and I assume they cleaned up well since my renters have not complained. I will absolutely be using Greentree in the future, when needed. I highly recommend.
Greentree gives horrible service! I do not recommend this company for any work. I had a tree trimmed before and it was a horrible job. The manager never had it corrected. I contacted the company to have the same job done and mentioned that I had complained before about the service. The price jumped almost 75%. The explanation was that prices increases, but inflation does not justify that much of an extra expense for tree trimming. Greentree's prices are inflated, the work is unprofessional, and the employees have nasty attitudes.
Greentree was contacted to remove a sticky ash tree in 2013 from Farragut Square. Instead, these \experts\ accidentally chopped down a landmark ginkgo that was planted in 1876 and stood 102 feet tall. If you don't care about quality, accuracy, or inflated prices, Greentree is your company.
