Best rafting company on the American River! We had a five star experience with Whitewater Excitement. Our guides, the chef, the food, the safety precautions, the tents, the transportation, the bathrooms, the cleanliness...the list goes on and on of all the things that were amazing. They took extensive measures to ensure a safe and clean environment for everyone in our group. It was a perfect trip and we look forward to booking next summer!

Our trip consisted of 11 people in 2 rafts. Our guides were Drew & Phillip. They were awesome. This was our second rafting trip with WhiteWater Excitement. You guys and gals ROCK! You are the best! And the deli lunch is great! We will be back next year to brave the Middle Fork!
We had an outstanding time with Whitewater Excitement. Our guide was Katie C., who made rafting for our two boys the best experience possible (it was their first time rafting). Katie was extremely kind, responsive to our requests, and guided us down the river with a true mastery of the South Fork. We couldn't have dreamed of a better guide. We also loved camping at Whitewater Excitement. The facilities were great and the food exceeded our expectations (thank you Tim!). We plan to return to Whitewater Excitement soon and try out the Middle Fork of the American River.
The entire process of booking and planning our trip was effortless and so easy. The trip itself was such a blast. Our guide was Isaiah and he made sure our trip was perfect for the group that we were. You could also easily see that all of the guides were modifying the experience to ensure their boat had the best time possible for them. We will definitely be going back.
We had a large group and had a fantastic time on the middle fork day trip! We had 3 members go to the wrong location and Whitewater Excitement made sure to still give them a full day in a different fork of the river. This accommodation was much appreciated. Our guides were Ryan, Scott, and Jack and all were great! We would highly recommend this company and would request the same guides again! Also lunch was fantastic!
