I have only used these folks for propane refills but the gentleman who runs the joint whenever I go is a great guy. Not to mention that their propane saves me a lot of money in comparison to most other refill stations.

Initially, I was not very happy with renting a truck from them as they did not take my reservation. I went in the day before to confirm and found this out. John at the OP location helped me to get a truck in Louisburg and Jeremy helped me out there. They did not charge me for the mileage from OP to Louisburg and back. They were very helpful and I would definitely use their services again. Very good people!
We rented a bounce house and snow cone machine for a child's birthday party. After unloading and inflating the bounce house we found socks, towels, and other random clothing inside of it. It smelled heavily of mildew/mold and had wet leaves pasted all over the interior. I called the facility and he said I could deflate it, roll it up and being it back in where he would hose it out or refund my money and keep it. We only had 20 minutes until the party started so I told we'd keep it and clean it, but I thought we should be reimbursed for that, to which he did not argue. Later we started up the snow cone machine and ended up having to throw away 2 cycles of shaved ice because it was coming out with black slime. When returning the items the man brushed off all of this disgusting news by saying the items looked clean to him and that they work on a honor system so he doesnt check everything. He also refused to reimburse us for the cleaning of the bounce house or the disgusting snow cone machine. We will NOT be renting any products from them ever again.
Quick and easy to rent equipment from Gerken. Had what I needed and showed me how to use it safely. I would rent from this place again.
