My husband and I recently became members at EVO and have loved our experience so far. They have a good sized bouldering area with regularly updated routes, friendly staff, and quality classes. We recently took the Intro to Ropes class with Alex (which is offered at no additional cost with a membership) which was the perfect two-hour crash course to learn how to belay and feel comfortable on the walls. Alex was passionate about teaching the subject matter and broke down belaying into digestible pieces so that, by the end of the two hours, we were able to belay one another with confidence. Would highly recommend checking this place out!

LOVE the climbing in this DIVERSE GYM, but they NEVER CLEAN. I've been a member for years now. Very well constructed with a VARIETY OF WALLS, slabs, overhangs, arête, chimney, and crack. Primarily set for TOP ROPING and bolted for LEAD CLIMBING, with additional large BOULDERING area, kids climbing, and FITNESS/TRAINING room. NEW ROUTES are continually being set and they're Grade-A. The front desk staff are always cool and friendly. The only trouble is that THE PLACE IS ALWAYS DIRTY and they haven't vacuumed or mopped the floors in literally many months. I thought that after the Covid-19 shutdown things might change, but since I returned in July (now December) I don't think they've cleaned the place. Sent e-mails to corporate with no reply. Left too many comment cards. Talked directly to staff and nothing has changed (management doesn't seem to come around much anymore, and removed their contact info from the website). It stinks seeing old Band-Aids and balls of hair on the floor and the clouds of chalk in the air. I'm continually surprised, considering they charge 20 a day for visitors and 70/month for members. You might think they'd care more about health and wellbeing during a global pandemic, but alas.

I like this gym. They have implemented an online reservation system, which sounds great! Unfortunately when I arrived about 75% of the people in the gym were in the bouldering area and I didn’t feel comfortable being so close to so many people. I think their system could be better (an hour slot for either bouldering or top rope /lead climbing could work better). They didn’t enforce the time slots in that they didn’t tell people their time was up and it’s time to leave, but that could have been because they weren’t at capacity? They have a good selection of routes and it’s close to home so I can’t complain! People were following the mask mandate too.

I moved back to Colorado recently and have been making a habit of trying new climbing gyms. Day passes can be expensive, but its worth it to try new places. Honestly I think I'm done sampling for a while because Evo was everything I want in a gym. Super friendly staff, great bouldering problems, and an awesome space. The reservation system is really simple and made me feel comfortable knowing I'd for sure get a spot at a busy time. The person working the front desk asked if my friends and I been climbing. When we said yes, the staff member said they'd avoid insulting us with a long orientation and just cover the important stuff. I really appreciated that. Evo uses the V system for ranking the bouldering problems. Some gyms in Colorado make up their own system which seems unnecessary so I appreciated a normal, straight forward system. The section for bouldering has a large variety of problems and is spaced out nicely. And there is a great distribution of difficulty. I do not sport climb, but feel like I should once I purchase a membership because there are tons of routes (some available for auto-belay and some for lead climbing). I like the variety. Plus there's workout equipment upstairs which makes a membership a good value. All in all I'm really pleased and excited to go back.

Awesome place for individuals and whole families of all ages. My wife and I moved to the local area and we brought our 7 year old and had a blast. I and my wife even ended up buying gear and will be starting a family membership. The staff is SUPER helpful and really nice. The facility is very well kept. Also have a fitness area upstairs. they have a kids area and childcare. They sell plenty of gear and snacks and drinks.
