On 9/5/2020 my daughter got married at the Cornerstone Cottage, as most could imagine not everything goes as planned. Well the wedding cake that my daughter had ordered through another person arrived smashed and not at all able to salvage. Immediately the bridal party and I went to our phones to see if we could get something similar. It was already 4pm . I called Heitzman’s Bakery on Bardstown rd and LINDA helped me without hesitation. With in a half hour we had a smaller version of the original cake my daughter wanted, it was beautiful and tasteful. I can’t thank Heitzman’s and LINDA for fulfilling such an important moment of the wedding! Definitely will be my go to place in the future.
Donuts were delicious. Love the dough. With the first bite, I always have to close my eyes to take in the full experience. They always taste so fresh. The lady that helped us was quite welcoming and friendly. Thanks for breakfast! P.S. (Always warm your donut for approximately *8* seconds to get it to the perfect, warm out of the oven, temperature, then indulge).
This little family business has set up an excellent storefront, with lots of tasty treats. The two ladies inside were super welcoming and happy. Their oreo cookie cake was especially yummy. Definitely worth getting up in the morning for. My family was really excited to stumble upon this great place.
