LG&E/KU have always strived for continuous improvement in their service to their customers. Yes, they do have problems with service to their customers from time to time and that is not unusual with any company. The key is they will correct problems and work hard to do better overall. By the way, rates are very good for their service to customers!!

Worst electric service in 50 years over 4 states The entire neighborhood is out Of service for 14 hours - so I call to check on status and she says “We don’t have a call from you earlier “ Really - It takes the entire neighborhood to call in a repair ? Also electricity goes out every thunderstorm - haven’t experienced anything like it since I was a kid - 50 years ago and I had to wait 14 minutes to get through
Don't expect to take care of any payments over the weekend because they will just tell you too bad we can't help you call back mon- Friday. During the hours most people are at work.
I'm renting. Bill is up to date. A truck (non-LG&E) shows up at 8:30 PM on 7/3/17 to turn off my power. Rapped hard on front window, there is a doorbell (which works), and a door. They refused to show any ID, or provide their names. They called the cops on me. LG&E says they were working within acceptable parameters, and that they would not send any LG&E crew out without police escort. LG&E should send people out to represent them, not hoodlums and/or reprobates. Just look at some of the other reviews. They are a bad company. I've only been in Louisville a month. Nice welcome from LG&E.
