Shreeji is one of my favorite quick Indian choices in Louisville. Everything is vegetarian, which I greatly appreciate. But fear not carnivores, none of my friends have missed the meat! The menu is extensive. Even if you have eaten a lot of Indian food locally, there will likely be many unfamiliar items. Luckily, the staff will enthusiastically explain any menu items. And feel free to ask for less spicy items and spice level if you want to turn down the heat. Pandemic precautions are in place. Ingredients are fresh and tasty, presentation is unexpectedly gorgeous for “fast food” and the flavors are out of this world. Enjoy!

Tasty food. Clean facility. Able to dine in and social distance. Staff, is marginally friendly, but does NOT speak clear fluent English so it’s best to have some idea of what Indian food is and you would like to eat.
Really great food and service. The Family staff will guide you towards delicious dishes based on your desires. I found the rare everyone friendly and great food combination, here. The bathroom, dining area, and reception area is well lit, clean, and items for sale are displayed in a thoughtful manner. The meal was life changing. I could feel the flavors combine inside of me from the the generous portions and unique flavors. Their are a lot of choices and I was able to view what the prepared dishes looked like upon ordering. When I had a curiosity, the delightful young lady disappeared for a moment and came out with a sample.
It's our favorite Indian food in Louisville - worth the drive from our neighborhood. I try to get different things every time and have NEVER been disappointed. My husband ordered their version of \butter chicken\ and loved it but I am really a fan of getting things I can't get anywhere else. We will keep going back there! I agree that the Gujurati sampler is a great way to sample a bunch of dishes- make sure you specify a spice level!
Hmmmm couldn't decide what to get, food so the owner helped us decide and did not let us down! As expected, everything was very flavorful but seemed also very authentic, like true Indian street food! Also appreciated that they let you choose your level of spice (1-6). Can't wait to go back !!!
