Really nice people and a beautiful orthodox church. Each year they present a Russian Festival. A nice day of selling crafts and religious icons. Good food and several homemade recipes available.

There are at least 4 Orthodox Churches in the area and I found this community to be very welcoming. We went to their parish festival and it was excellent.

Since I've been coming to this church now for almost a year, I think it's about time I give a review . Since the chaotic year of 2016, I've been learning about many MANY things Russian. It's language, history (20th Century*), traditions and why Russia is such a unique country that many in America apprehend, but few Comprehend. I set out to comprehend it! *From my own research, I learned about Russian Christianity because I saw that it today is a type of Christianity that is still truly Christian and not plastic or fraudulent. The reason why, is that It suffered so much during the 20th century at the hands of the Godless Soviet, in ways that make the persecutions of the early church during Nero, Trajan and Diocletian look like a walk in the park! It was from looking at this, that made me fall in love with Russia. And it more importantly wanted me to experience what I myself had fallen in love with. And myself and my family finally set our to do just that last year. It was that fateful day (2/3/19), that I felt something... Something otherworldly, beautiful, holy and above all I felt for the first time that I was in the presence of Divinity, OF CHRIST! It was such an overwhelming experience of true religion that I had rivers of tears going down my face! (For a historic parallel) To quote St. Vladimir of Kiev's envoys when they went to the Hagia Sophia \We knew not whether we were in heaven or on earth.\ And since then, it's been uphill! I've made many friends! I've done so many things with my new friends! I've gotten to do many things I never thought I'd never do in a million years! I've gone to Organized Pilgrimages to Holy Trinity Monastery in Jordanville NY, and Holy Cross Monastery in Wayne WV, which were absolutely phenomenal! Overall. I highly recommend this church for ANYONE looking for something truly Authentic and Christian. And for those spiritually broken in particular, I just want to tell your welcome here! May God bless you!
