Recently stayed at my first vacation rental through Cascade. We booked a cabin on Devil Track Lake near Grand Marais. Property was clean and well maintained. Plenty of space to accommodate our group and had all the requisite amenities (fridge, dishwasher, oven, stove, microwave, grill, firepit, .TVs etc.). Would definitely look at using them again for another vacation rental. Yard was spacious and great for hanging out. Had quite a few trees, but also a nice view of the lake. Lake access was a bit sketchy with a step drop down to the water with a smooth rock beach. There was better accessibility near the on-prem restaurant/main lodge. Devil Track boat launch was a few miles down the road and landing was nice. Lake was very quiet and yielded some excellent smallmouth bass and plenty of eater walleyes. When checking out we accidentally left behind our action camera and a few other small items. Was certain they were never to be found again, however, upon contacting CVR they were able to locate the items and mail them back to us. What a lifesaver! Proximity to other properties was pretty tight, but we didn't feel encroached upon and it wasn't too loud or crazy at any point day or night. Given Covid and all I would say everyone was both friendly yet kept a cautious distance from one another. Parking was a little tight for 2 cars and a boat though there was overflow parking also a short walk from cabin near the main lodge. All in all a really good experience.

I've had the pleasure to know the company from their office staff to the most wonderful places to vacation on Minnesota's North Shore! If you are looking for a private place to relax and reconnect, choose CVR. They have a long list of properties all over the North Shore, for different budgets and small or big groups! Remember that you come for vacation, so forget about the WiFi and work, enjoy your time in the woods!

We have been using Cascade Vacation Rentals for some time now. We have always had an excellent experience with not only the whole rental process but also the rental properties themselves. The cabins we have rented are always clean and match the on Cascades website description to a T. I never have to wonder if it going to disappoint because they never do. Nothing but great things to say about our first rental experience with Cascade. Booking was super easy. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. My family enjoyed a much needed vacation. We will definitely be using Cascade again!

If I’m going to pay to vacation somewhere I’m going to pick a place that provides sheets, blankets, towels for the bathroom and kitchen and a bath mat. It’s already a lot of work when taking small kids on vacation but having to pack all those extra things wasn’t worth it. There are plenty of other places that provide these things through covid.
