I was hesitant to try aerial silks as a heavier girl but the ladies at Lux made me feel comfortable and confident in my abilities. I learned how to be more flexible and they made exercising fun!
I've been training on aerial silks with Brittany of Lux Performance Arts for about a couple of years now and I wouldn't have it any other way. She is incredibly patient and supportive but also challenges you and helps you to become a better aerialist. She is great at explaining and demonstrating body position and how to move your body properly. She can also spot your weaknesses and strengths and train them wisely. No matter what level you are starting at, from complete beginner to gymnast or athlete, Lux is the place to go if you want to be an aerialist!
My daughter Violet trains at Lux Performance Arts. It's an amazing place for children to explore circus arts in a safe, structured and fun environment. Brittany is a great teacher, she is patient, a positive motivator and knows when to let them have fun and explore. I am so grateful to have this gem of a studio in Apex.
