We had the absolute best time ever on our Houseboat! We had a group of 14 of us and we were blown away from start to finish with our trip! The group we met at the dock were so helpful and definitely had us completely prepared for our trip before we took off on our own! The boat was so easy to drive which was a concern for us since no one in our group had much boat driving experience! The pictures of the houseboat online do not do justice to how nice these boats really are! WE were all very shocked when we arrived on the boat! The air conditioning was perfect! The rooms were much larger than we had thought they would be and they were nice and cool and the beds were large and very comfortable! Even the bedding they had provided were so comfy! We loved the comforters! lol! The kitchen was so nice and was able to easily hold 14 peoples groceries! What was most clutch was the automatic ice maker! It was perfect for our group who went through lots and lots of ice! The living room is very spacious and having tv was nice to have. We barely used it, but some of those who were swimming and staying out of the sun enjoyed it! Our group cannot say enough good things about Almost Home Houseboat rentals! We have already booked our trip for the same weekend next year for Lake Ouachita! The lake was amazing and the houseboat made this trip all that and more! Thank you so much! Cant wait for next year!

Talked with the owner, Julie several times before our trip since we almost had to cancel and she was completely understanding and assuring. The great news we didn’t cancel and had the most fun vacation ever. 7 adults and 5 kids and we had plenty of room. The boat was clean and well furnished. We never had a single issue with our Presidential #4 boat. The dock hands were very polite and very helpful; they even helped hook up the satellite once we secured the boat. This is a great value when you consider how many people went. Everyone slept great each night since we wore ourselves out swimming and hiking the hills near the waters edge. Been home for several days and the family can’t stop talking about all the memories we created on Lake Ouachita.

Another great experience with Almost Home Houseboats! This was our third year in a row to use their boats, and we will definitely be back next year. The kids loved the water slide off the back of the boat and also enjoyed the hot tub on the party deck. All the comforts of home on the water. The boat was very clean and well maintained. Miss Julie and her staff were very friendly and helpful as always. We also rented a party barge from them as well, and it was very nice. Great week on the water and would highly recommend!!
