I cannot say enough wonderful things about Loretta and Mountain Ridge Giant Alaskan Malamutes. From the second I expressed interest in one of her pups, she was extremely communicative. She answered all my questions and I had no doubt it would be a perfect fit. I was sent updates on weight and photos weekly until I picked him up at 11 weeks old. Malamutes are obviously a passion, and not a business, for Loretta and it shows. The adults and the puppies are just delightful and well behaved. I've already been able to crate train, potty train, socialize, and do basic training with my Steve, and it has only been ONE week since I picked him up! He is sweet, loving, smart, and gentle while having that lovely puppy spirit. I'd like to also note that I have a small adult dog, and 4 children ranging from 1.5-6 years old and he is great around them. He came from a loving environment and family and now is a permanent part of my family. If you are lucky enough to get a beautiful pup from Mountain Ridge, you will not be disappointed!

She sends you home with all the essentials, keeps you updated from the day the pup is born, and ensures they’re going to the best possible home. Loretta is absolutely one of the kindest and most informed people I’ve ever worked with, her dogs beautiful and pure. She has been willing even to provide guidance well after bringing our puppy home, and answer any and all questions. Her contract is standard, generous in willing to help with any issues that might arise. We drove to pick up the pup so I cannot speak on shipment, but it is a beautiful area if you aren’t too far! If we decide on another pup and she’s still breeding in some years, we will absolutely be back. Getting to meet most of the dogs, any litter would be worth waiting for!

Beautiful Malmute puppies, this is Juliet from their last 10/17 litter, the love and care they put into these pups are awesome, and she starts their training early so when picked up it makes it so much easier. Anyone looking into getting a Malamute should definately check here first.
