Do not waste your money with propane bottle exchanges at Dollar General's, hardware stores, and Casey's General Stores. Unless there is an emergency. Instead, fill your propane bottles at Cross roads RV Park an Propane Refill. There is a distinct difference in price to your benefit.

I have stayed here several times in the full hookup area and the tent camping area and it was always great. It’s a nice little rural park. Here’s some good points... Quiet and clean. Affordable. 20 tent camping, 34 full hookup sites. Air conditioned bathrooms/showers and laundry room. 15 amp regular plug in for tent camping sites (I used it to plug in a fan and charge my cell phone). Pull-thru gravel full-hookup sites - water, sewer, 30/50 amp Bags of ice and small selection of groceries sold in office. Gourmet flavored coffee sold in office. Owner and staff is very nice and friendly. There is a storm shelter for tornado season!

2.5 stars is the rating this place should recieve. Camping and Lodging 5 stars all day. Now for the manager. 1st off, hes lucky my mama dont whip 'em. My gam gram would have turned him inside out and i know gramps would have taken you behind the wood shed. Jan 6th i watched a female get out of a car and apparently request for propane bottles to be filled. There are requirements with certifications to fill them by the way. I question his. NOT RELEASING OR \PURGING\ the valve once the tank is full potentially makes the tank a time bomb. Number two. This young female whom was about 7 months pregnant and was the size of the propane bottles small was left to carry them to her vehicle her self. Yes 100% i agree not necessarily his job but he would expect you to assist his wife im sure. Locals have other places to go. Crosswinds, known you folks a long many years. This really saddened me.

Stayed here four times over last several years. Friendly staff, efficient reservation and payment systems. Propane on site. Trees need trimming, difficult to exit sites. Nice spacious, clean laundry. Only 3 washers and 3 dryers considering park is full due to local temporary workers. One washer and one dryer not working well, same issue last two times we were here. We'll definitely come back due to great location, easy access to US 75 and accommodating staff.

This review is for Flint Hills Trail users. The RV park is about 200 yards off the trail. Use the farm road on the east side of the bridge. The Treehouse were perfect with a open bay under to store bikes. Picnic tables and a small fire pit at next to each house. The bed are soft and the houses are very clean. Management is very friendly and the prices are very reasonable. Hot showers and restrooms were clean and well stocked. The area is quiet and very beautiful.
