Food is absolutely amazing. Seating doesn't take long at all (at most 10 minutes), and often isn't wait at all. As soon as you are seated, you can already start eating, as different food items come along a conveyor belt running along the tables. For larger food items, they are carried by a robot that runs above the conveyor belt to your table, where you can pick up the food and eat. The food is very good. My personal favorites are the king salmon nigiri and the rainbow roll. They have many different types of food, including vegan options. Overall, this is a restaurant with a very unique experience, and very good food. This is a restaurant I would definitely recommend.

Great items off the belt; definitely worth ordering off the menu as well!

Blue C Alderwood is a prime location, I've often visited past ten years. Good to great sushi, colorful staff. Seems to grow ever more expensive, I seldom escape for less than 40 with tip anymore. The benchmark for conveyer, which isn't quite good as hand rolled to order. Still, exceptional for lunch anytime!

March 2018 - Visited during Happy Hour and this time I was a little disappointed in the variety of things on the belt to choose from. I should have taken a picture of the belt to show how empty it was.... the whole time I was there. What I got was still good quality and yummy.... but I was a little let down by this experience compared to my previous. I probably would have gotten a couple more plates if there were more variety, but I left not full because I just got tired of looking and waiting as empty spots went by forever. March 2017 - I really like sushi but I don't have a belt style restaurant near me, so when I go to sushi I end up getting the same rolls all the time because at 10-15 a pop I would hate to get something I don't like. But here, and especially at happy hour, you can try new things and even if you don't like them you are only out 3.... set it aside and try something else! My favorite here was the spicy - Legion of Boom roll - so good! Other things I tried were good too, but that one stood out for me. Service was just ok... there isn't much for them to do, you help yourself with things off the belt, so hard to evaluate service. Atmosphere is a little noisy and open..... but has to be this way in order for everyone to be able to access the belt. One suggestion I have for someone who hasn't visited one before is to not hesitate if there is something you think you might like....... It takes a LONGGGG time for the same item to come back around to you on the belt again!

The food quality is really good, if you have lots of money to spend. I went there with one on there person and got under 15 plates, it was about 70 dollars. I'm not used to paying this much for sushi, but I'm not complaining. I knew what I was getting into, and it's easy to stack the plates up. It's not a place I'll go very often, but a special treat for every once in a while. The service was quick and friendly and the food was delicious.

I've popped into this corner restaurant a couple of times for a quick bite, after shopping in the mall. Conveniently located around the corner from REI, facing the main parking intersection/entrance. Fresh and delicious selections on the conveyor belt that are reasonably priced. Take out boxes are available near the entrance so that you can pack a box to go, if preferred. I've had pleasant service and a fast tally of plates, allowing me to be quickly on my way.
