They only have one type of pesto (the vegan, arugula pesto doesn't count because what psycho puts arugula in pesto) that they don't really keep stocked. Their foods are diverse and not diverse at the same time. They have a decent selection of cultural foods which is better than most other grocery stores, but not a lot of different types/brands of the same product. What if I don't want to use Mrs. Meyer's dish soap?

Fred's has upped it's home goods game. I'm pleasantly surprised with the quality and design of the home decor. With 50% off clearance and random 50% off furniture sales, I highly suggest stopping in to see if you can find your style for much less than designer stores.
You remodeled your store and locked up all the baby formula so people won't steal it. The complaint is that you have lacked on adding a call button for the last 2 months and I now have to stand around the formula isle waiting to find an employee like while I have 2 babies and a small child. Last wk I asked customer service and 2 walking employees and after 20 min of noone showing up I was told by one of the employees very rudely that I just can't be helped right now. Thanks for wasting so much of my time, Wal-Mart on 99 has a call button on there case and are always polite and stocked so they'll be receiving my hundreds a month for formula now.
They made people stand in line for 6 hours in the middle of pandemic to announce that they have only 20 copies of PS5 instead of 35 that they said on the customer line in the evening before. Then treated remaining disappointed customers disrespectfully. No thanks for such a horrible customer service.
Overall I feel that Fred Meyer is a great one-stop-shop for department store needs as well as groceries but this time I was extremely disappointed to discover that they do NOT carry slippers year round. Although tragic, it will take much more than this for me to discontinue shopping there though.
