I've had nothing but great experiences with the crew at Seattle Coffee Gear Repair and their next door neighbor, Rocket Espresso. I had my old Rocket Cellini serviced by them years ago when it stopped working. They repaired it in a timely manner and everything worked as good as new again. One important note: I'm a local in Seattle so I don't have to worry about shipping my machine to them. My newer Rocket Appartamento stopped working a few months ago and they repaired it under warranty just before its three year period was up. My machine got updated wiring and a control board and everything started running smoothly again. Just recently, my hot water and steam valves started showing signs that they were dying of old age (over three-years-old). These parts are like parts on a car where you can just count on going out after a few years of lots of wear and tear, especially when there's heating and cooling going on every day. The Rocket tech, Aryan, has been very helpful when I've had problems with my machine and gave me the recommendations I needed to fix this routine maintenance repair myself. The hot water dispenser only needed a rod stem replaced in the valve but the steam wand side needed the valve. It was an easy fix at home and saved me money. Thanks to the great crew at Rocket and SCG for allowing me to keep the espresso flowing into my cup day after day at home!

I’ve bought 4 espresso machines from Seattle coffee gear and have always been impressed with their knowledge and service. Today I brought a machine to their repair department. After about :10 of diagnosing the problem, they just swapped out a part and sent me on my way with a fully operational machine at no cost!

I bought an open box dream pid a few years ago and while it was still under warranty I mailed it for 80. They refused to pay for postage there. It was leaking from the steam wand valve and I broke the valve knob trying to get it to not leak so badly. They sent it back to me with a new knob. The valve still leaked. So a year or so passes and the valve becomes completely nonfunctional and I decide wisely to repair it my self and buy a new valve with some threadlocker. Works FLAWLESSLY!!! I had to spend 80 for the valve and some change for the little tube of loctite 243 I got off of eBay to replace the elbow pipe in the valve that Seattle coffee gear repair center REFUSED TO FIX and I’m still angry that they didn’t fix the problem!

Bought a rocket cinquantotto a month ago. But had issues with water level to low. Emailed got 2 responses then no more. Afert putting up with intermittent operation finally sent last request for help stating it would be returned if better communication was not established. If you call the service line it just hangs up on you after 5 mins on hold. With no response, I returned the machine. After I sent the email I called their competitor online who was happy to help me understand what was wrong. They spent 20mins with me and I did not even buy the machine there. Whole latte love.com. fantastic customer service there. I have since ordered the replacement from them.

We were treated with the utmost kindness and professionalism when Andy and the crew did a major overhaul on our Rocket espresso machine and our grinder (with 13,000 shots on its odometer!). Service was prompt and a great value. I love how they send a detailed estimate and a clear repair process. Very happy with this service.

WARNING DONT LET THEM SCAM YOU LIKE THEY DID ME. I took my machine in for repair, it had stopped working correctly. They informed me that it only needed a 200 cleaning/maintenance. I was hesitant to believe a simple gasket change would solve the problem and asked if they were positive that was the problem, I was told yes. I agreed to the work and took it home. The machine did the same thing. I took it back in. I watched as one of the tech's took less than 1 minute to diagnose the real problem, which was going to cost me another 200. I questioned them about why they missed something so easy to check the first time. Im now out 200, and it still doesnt work, but they did tell me, at least its clean. They offered to credit me 200 towards a new 1000. Machine, but only if they can take posesssion of my machine! WHAT? I feel like it has been a RACKET all along. First, they dont repair the only thing wrong with the machine, because they "misdiagnosed" it and charged me 200. Then, insist they will ONLY credit me for their mistake when they take posession of MY machine. My mom and I had noticed a huge increase in the refubished units seattle coffee gear has available this year, now we know why, trying to increase income, in a slowing economy, by screwing long time, loyal customers! Thats the American spirit, way to go seattle coffee gear! REFURBISH AND RESELL!! WARNING!! THEY ARE SCAMMING YOU! Kim Reply: I spoke with the manager Tim already and he made it clear that it is absolutely NOT a courtesy to relinquish my MACHINE and get 20% discount for recycle, but a requirement to give me the 200 credit towards the purchase of a new machine. I intended to keep my old machine and forfeit the 20%, discount for recycle and purchase a new one, applying the 200 I paid for maintenance for the misdiagnosis. I was under the impression that as an authorized Delonghi repair shop, you would be qualified to make an accurate diagnosis.
