Food is good. The restaurant has a pretty decent variety of dishes at reasonable prices. The owner is very happy and friendly. Call if you plan to dine in, as they are only having to-go at theoment.

On February 12, 2021, one of the business nights for a Chinese Restaurant, this establishment decided to disregard the SAFETY of their customers. Staff in the kitchen were not wearing face coverings of any kind. I requested an immediate refund which the owner stated she was unable to do at that time but to check back in a few days. Claimed the reason the workers did not have masks was because it was so busy. This is UNACCEPTABLE and a complete safety hazard. Covid-19 mandates are in place for the protection of not only members of the community but so that abiding business can stay afloat. Places like this are going to ruin it for the rest. The owner did apologize and state she would tell the workers to wear masks. I’m disappointed not just for the consumers but that her own staff have been placed at risk.

Dish names are misleading and chicken was overcooked. Why does “poached chicken” look brown as if it’s been cooked in soy sauce, and is stiff and dry? The onion pancakes taste like old oil. The roasted duck was completely charred. The pork was okay but the fat part had a mild rancid taste and the skin was not crispy which tells me it’s old or has been sitting out for a long time. The only thing that was okay was the shrimp-stuffed bell peppers. This restaurant would be okay if you like overcooked, over-fried food, which I did for a minute but quickly realized this is not good food.

Unfortunately, this is going to be on the rare times when I post a negative review. We ordered duck over rice to go and the duck served was not only chewy, (like it had been under the heat lamp for a while, but it was mostly back bones, there was very little protein and what appeared like chopped up duck necks and wing flaps (not the wing or drumstick part). I can't explain how disappointing and cheap the portion was. Maybe someone ordered up all the parts of the duck with all the good pieces, and we got stuck with what they had left, but needless to say, I hope that this is not a practice that will continue. I think we paid 11-12 dollars for the dish and now I am stuck making lunch at home.

I ordered on door dash and was taking a gamble. I was hoping for the price - the entree would come with rice or noodles. Nope. The pork buns are very small. Sweet and sour pork had good flavor BUT the meat was super small in the breading and was very hard to eat. It was chewy/gristley. Mongolian beef was also chewy and dried out fast. Definitely not worth it for the door dash price for this. I was craving pork buns though.
