On June 6, 2019, I went with Advanced Hardwood Floors to court due to the unfair pricing on my floors. Roberto Ciamillo came with his wife whom claimed to be the legitimate owner of the company. The judge awarded less than they claimed I owed them. In the court, after presenting the pictures of the defects within the floor to him, he said \this is not a split it is within the grain\. After seeing my floor resanded (natural), I decided to go with a sealer and clear on the floors rather than stain. Next, after checking with the local hardwood professionals and learning online about the difference of cost and labor I concluded that sealing is less labor and cost, especially in my case, since I was the one who purchased the needed material (only the sealer was purchase by Advance Hardwood Floors). Roberto was still claiming the original amount quoted for staining the floors for which he had to provide ALL the materials needed. Throughout the entire involvement with this company I went through a nightmare. From obsessive behavior of collecting money, harassing/threatening with furnishing and lien on my condo to physically stocking/blocking my car in the morning before 9 am. As well as, compulsively texting and calling, pressing to agree with him (180-time text/calls counted back and forth). When asked to sit down and discuss the details that I needed to present to him he stated \what is there to discuss?\ not willing to do so. Without scheduled/agreed appointment he sent his employee to collect the money. I am honestly afraid of my well-being in his presence.
These guys do great work! Fast, clean and very professional.. Love my new wood floors!!!!
Roberto did a great job on my new floors and even a better job on some old wood that I needed redone. These guys are real professionals with a ton of knowledge and experience. I will never use anyone else again!
