We used this company to assist us in rebuilding my Mom's home after a fire. Initially, there was confusion because the first project manager we met with left and we had to start the conversation over with a new contact. These folks showed up the night of the fire, which I understand but find tacky. They guaranteed their work for 5 years. We had several things - light fixtures, microwave, refrigerator out of order. The claim was these were things purchased not exactly \done\ by them. All of the appliances were purchased by them, so they were responsible for making sure they were in working order. The punch list we went over together took months to complete. We still have a \dip\ in the bathroom floor. The lighting fixture in the dining room was not put where it was supposed to be, making it NOT over the dining table. After two years, the microwave stopped working. I feel they should be responsible for that. When it came time to get their check, you could always find them. However, when we called out to them for repairs or assistance with various faulty things they did - no such luck. I would not refer anyone to work with these folks.

Unprofessional and terrible service. I hired them to do mitigation and repairs after water damage. I was told it would be a couple of weeks before repairs could be made after the mitigation. They never contacted me back after sending the repair estimate to my insurance company. After waiting almost 3 weeks for them to schedule the repairs, I contacted them and was told that they would not be completing the repairs. I was not given a reason, other than the general manager said that they would not be completing the work. Responding to their comment: Thank you for your response, but that is incorrect. I was made aware that you subcontract the repairs but was told someone would contact me to schedule and it would be about 2 weeks. I tried to schedule then and was told someone would contact me. I waited nearly 3 weeks, and I had to contact your office myself. I was put on hold 2 times, to only be told that the general manager stated you would not be doing the repairs. When I questioned the reason for that, I was told again that the general manager said you would not be doing the repairs. I was never given a reason and I was not given the offer to schedule the repairs at that point. It was simply stated that you would do the repairs.

First let me say the two men that came from the mitigation department were truly very nice. However they made the restoration teams job more difficult because they couldn't take an extra minute or two on there cuts to make them any where near straight. Sheet rock had to be re-cut all the way around bathroom and bedroom. Then sub-flooring had to be cut straight before they could measure and put anything back in place. Restoration department was all over the place. They only sent one person to do a two man job 2 days in a row. The person that is suppose to mud everything has already canceled 3 times. I was told it would be a 4 day job give or take once started. It has been 7 days and they have barely put a dent into the job. They either need a bigger crew or learn not to take on jobs they obviously cannot handle. Most people work and have to take off work to be home...then you ask to come on a Saturday and I make sure I can be here and you don't cancel until almost lunch. The people are nice, but they have no time management skills.

From the initial call with Kelly, ServiceMaster was absolutely fabulous! They were knowledgeable and communicated with us throughout the entire process! The customer service was amazing. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again or recommendation to anyone.

Terrible service. They have no place in the emergency response business. Had to hunt them down to give me an appointment to assess the potential of black mold on a rental property. Two days later, they were late to their scheduled appointment with no notice. I had to call them to ask of their whereabouts. They then called my tenant and told him that all they needed were photos of the mold. This is after he put his day on hold to wait for them to arrive onsite. If all they needed were photos, why didn't they just ask for them when I called two days earlier?!? Sent the photos nearly 24 hours ago and have had no follow-up from them. Most of their calls go directly to an answering service. So unprofessional! I called the Warner Robins location to ask them to pick up the ball and they are all over it. Skip Macon Service Master and go directly to Warner Robins, who actually shows a sense of professionalism and urgency in the event of an emergency.
