I went in here for the first time not knowing exactly what sort of assistance they offer and was very surprised with how helpful they were. The receptionist was very friendly and connected me with a specialist right away. The specialist was incredibly kind, well informed, and gave me clear direction in the areas I requested. I found assistance with my insurance, my SSDI, social work, dentistry, the impact of marriage on my benefits, I mean you name it! I highly recommend you go in if you need direction!

The care we have received here has always been from a warm and constructive place of assistance. Even with disabled and aging family members in my family, we are treating humane and I don't feel any contention and \charity case\ kind of treatment that is often felt elsewhere.

Apparently, there are few alternatives for transportation of the elderly and/or disabled in Madison/Dane County, and the ADRC doesn't seem to even knoe what thise few alternatives, such as Access to Independence, are. It is quite troublesome when the folks seeking help know more than the staff!
