Excellent place to eat. Great food and service. The only complaint I would have is the tall booths don't have leg rests and are not very comfortable. Otherwise it was a great experience and would go again.

Buraka is just such an incredible restaurant. Madison doesn’t have Ethiopian food outside of Buraka so it makes it even more special. I always get the dorowat or chicken peanut stew or coconut curry chicken ... the options are endless. Definitely do it more traditional with the meal served on a large platter with the injera, so taste and more authentic! Must go to!!

NOT AUTHENTIC ETHIOPIAN FOOD! Don't let them fool you into thinking this is how Ethiopian food should taste like. Try Ethiopian Cottage Restaurant in Milwaukee if you want real/best Ethiopian food.

Rich flavors are absolutely delicious!!! Everything we had from the cold lentil side dish to the Dorowot and Begwot was spectacular. DO NOTE, I have never had African cuisine before this, so I can't say I speak from experience. Our waiter was highly attentive and on top of it! Great first introduction to African food!

First time trying Buraka and boy oh boy did it NOT Disappoint! Food was DELICIOUS! Hands down & Hands up, I highly recommend. We ordered coconut chicken curry, beef tibs firfir, dorowot with injera and chilled lentils on a family platter. Definitely one to keep for repeats. Very friendly waitress and on point service. If you're in the mood for Ethiopian cuisine around the Dane County area. Buraka's comes highly recommended in my opinion .
