I bought a new Ram 1500 and the experience was quite decent. The truck was two hours away, yet I was able to do much of the paperwork online, including financing. Dan did a great job preparing the sale and setting expectations for me. Ran into a hiccup with my credit report he warned me about (I had locked it) but resolved on the drive up. Andre was covering for Dan when I arrived and was very prepared and helpful. A genuine kind of guy. Most of the time spent at the dealership was spent in the truck itself, not waiting in an office. The paperwork was simple--and void of the traditional pressure to buy extra stuff. All in all, a most positive experience.

You'll pay full shop rate for each step of the repair even if they are sequential or related. For us it was a radiator diagnostic (1h), replacement (3.2 h) , thermostat replacement and upper hose (0.7 h), coolant flush (1 h) and oil change (0.3 h) that totaled 1,356.92 with tax. You can imagine that the first three items are related. While this is becoming (or is) common practice, it doesn't make it fair and leads to excessive labor charges (781.55).
