Pay attention to the expiration date before you buy!! I found a lot of products that were almost expiring or even have ALREADY expired put on the front of the shelves and those far from the expiration date hidden behind them. Still, the store is well organized and clean.

Really cute little locally-owned Korean grocer. They sell kim chee, many kinds of gochujang, and some very nice crockery. A tiny bit overpriced, IMO, but worth a visit for the friendly staff, well organized products. Oh hey, look! Sheet masks (Dermal brand, from Korea) by the checkout counter! I will be back for sure.

This is a great business. They have everything you need and more. I love how friendly the staff is, they deal with Covid very well, they make you hand sanitize before you come in and are very friendly about it. Would highly recommend coming here.

The negative reviews about this store puzzle me. I'm not a "regular" but I've been shopping here a few times a year for the last decade or two, and I've always gotten helpful, friendly service. The shopkeepers are certainly on the quiet side, but so am I. I don't take that as unfriendliness. And yep -- they have a credit card minimum. That's not bad service, that's just survival. When you're running a small business, you do what you can to stay fiscally viable. Credit card fees can make a big difference to a tiny independent shop that's already operating on thin margins. I love their variety of Korean and Japanese items that I can't get anywhere else conveniently. Highly recommend.

I was so impressed by the owner was very helpful and friendly. She asked me sanitizing my hands when I entered, kept limited customers in the store. I felt like I was comfortable and safe in there. The price was bit pricey compared to Oriental Food Market, but it was very close to UW Madison. Great Asian grocery store!

They were so nice AND had what I needed. It was also convenient that they're in walking distance to where I'm currently staying. I really wish I could give them 5 stars, BUT they have a credit card minimum of 10. While that isn't a problem, they either aren't accepting cash or don't accept cash. I assumed it was pandemic related, which is fine except that they didn't lower their credit card minimum. This meant I was forced to buy something that I don't want or need. Basically I threw away 5 because of greed. I realize there are credit card fees, but I bought a 5 sauce. Considering 5 is the minimum for most businesses usually set for their credit cards, I found the experience unreasonable. Now I'll have to go out of my way for what I need. If what you're buying isn't over 10, then go elsewhere.

I’m very disappointed with overcharging. For NISHIKI sushi rice (5lbs), they charged 12 while the same size is 6.73 on Amazon. The person was somewhat helpful about our questions.
