I recently moved in. The apartments were renovated recently and look nice and clean. The application process wasn't too difficult. I actually had a complication with mine, and Desiree Johnson who works in the resident office was absolutely amazing (and patient). She definitely made my move here easier. The property is extremely pet friendly, and I love that they allow large dogs without any weird or extra fees. Would recommend the apartments, especially if you have pets

Recently moved into a one bedroom apartment here and it is an alright facility. The view and option of electronic payment of rent is pretty nice. There are some problems with receiving packages in that the package receiving area isn't used by many companies (have tried FedEx, Amazon Prime, and USPS; UPS apparently uses it but only catering to one company isn’t a great way of operating) so packages tend not to get delivered forcing you to pick it up or they are simply delivered outside the door of the building you live in, allowing any random person walking by to pick it up. Twice I have had packages marked as delivered only to never find them. The apartment itself is relatively renovated for the most part (everything looks gently used except the shower, which is a true 70s shower). Working with Desiree Johnson was a very nice experience and the process of moving in went well. One con I cannot get over is the lack of recycling receptacles. One would think the name would imply recycling (literally giving something a new use, renewing its purpose) would be something the apartment complex would be interested in. With all of the cons, its not really worth the monthly rent it asks, considering it makes you pay extra for utilities that are included at other places and it's also right across the street from a far cheaper complex with similar aspects. Speaking of the far cheaper complex, I toured it and they had protective bars on the patio doors which they said was WI law for apartments; those are not on my patio door which I find kind of sketchy. Do yourself a favor and rent elsewhere.

Terrible experience with ReNew Madison. We called them about 5 times asking about different units and to schedule a viewing. Each time we called it seemed that the person was just reading off the website, which were things we already knew. When we asked a question about something not listed on the website (which is the whole reason we called), they said they would have a specialist call us back. We never got a call from them. When we tried to apply online, it said we needed to pay an application fee and a deposit to hold the unit. We wanted to apply, but wanted to see the unit before we put a hold on it. The lady on the phone said we only needed to pay the application fee. The website would not let us pay only the application fee. We paid both. When we scheduled to view an apartment, no one was around. When we finally found someone, they told us it was a virtual tour, which they failed to mention on the phone. We didn't even get an email with a link to know that it was a virtual tour. They seemed very annoyed. We never got out money back. They claimed they sent us an email asking whether we wanted the unit held. We never got an email. Summary, they do not give a personal experience, and are very much profit motivated. Get people to rent with the least amount of work on their side. All they want is the fees and to get you to sign the lease.
