We have been here twice to carry out hot chicken and the experience was excellent both times. The first was a traditional leg-breast-and sides order. The second was for wings. All great! Food, price, service are all outstanding.

I travel over an hour to Slow Burn just to get my Nashville Hot Chicken fix. The service is amazing, I love the small town feel. They cater to most dietary needs/requests, like low sodium, gluten free, or allergy needs. Even though they have seafood, I never have to worry about them mixing their oils, especially if it is noted as an allergy. There is a heat level for everyone in the family, and their menu has a HUGE variety. The owners are always working and genuinely care about the food they are providing to their customers. The food is always fresh, it best if eaten right away but they pack their carryout stuff in a way that ot travels well. Their chicken hearts up better than any other fried chicken I've ever had.
The best hot chicken in Nashville!!! This is my go-to as Slow Burn Hot Chicken does not disappoint. We order from here about twice a month and the food is always on point! The service is always great. The young lady who brought food out during curbside ordering and now at the counter, is always super friendly and nice. I usually get the Gentri heat level (phenomenal flavor/heat) and one thing I love about their take out orders is every plate is bagged separately. This way I don’t have to worry about my family getting cross-contaminated spicy food. I’ve order a chicken platter for a business potluck and everyone couldn’t get over how good the hot chicken was! Whether a local or just passing through, this restaurant is a MUST try for authentic Nashville Hot Chicken!
I've purchased various items at \Slo Burn\. This restaurant is by far, IMHO, the best 'hot chicken' restaurant in Middle TN. Before Covid, I enjoyed the warmnest of the restaurant. I'm at the age now where I've got to be careful. Love the 'pickup' option. Once was a 'Hattie B' fan. No longer. I'm now a 'Slo Burn' fan.
Slow burn has great chicken, but watch out! Mild is what most places would consider medium, and medium-hot will set your world on fire . Be ready to wait 25-30 min if you order legs, thighs, etc as everything is made fresh to order.
