I've been coming to taste of India for almost 2 years now, and I try to eat it at least once a month. In my opinion the best indian place in Madison, from the staff to the food it's all great. No matter what we get its always delicious and made quickly. Can't say enough good things about them!

Great Indian buffet. Everything was so tasty. The naan bread was out of this world.
We enjoyed our dinner at Taste of India. The breads were the highlight because there were several we have not had before, including one stuffed with lamb. The entrees were all delicious: vegetables and meats. You can choose your level of spiciness and \mild\ is really very mild. Next time we would ask for more spices. Service was efficient and one of the waiters made a good suggestion for a chicken dish. Wine and beer were fine. Very filling and delicious food in a pleasant setting on Monroe Street, which is easy to get to.
Taste of India is the best! We love their chicken tandoori, chicken tikka masala, kormas, samosas, naan, soups, and dal. Their takeout is always perfect for dinner and their service is impeccable. We look forward to their buffets again in the future, where you get to try all sorts of new dishes.
One of the best Indian restaurants in Madison! Buffet is always hot and full, with food rotating on a daily basis. Great price for lunch buffet. Service is excellent, super nice servers. Drinks are always refilled on time. Love the samoosas, naan, tikka masala, goat curry, and biryani rice. Everything taste great! Try the fried naan! Mango ice cream is pretty good, creamy and smooth. Try the mango milkshake. They offer dinner specials. The menu includes northern and southern Indian plates. Also, they have some beers from India.
