They didnt call me back or answer my emails when I asked about the homeschooling process. I sent them my info, application ect. I later sent an email and called about any further actions I may need to take and where I could purchase books for homeschooling. No one got back to me. In fact I didnt know the D.P.I had classified my son as being homschooled. My son was enrolled in Arise Virtual Academy. I would have liked to continue my sons education with them until I got everything I need to start homeschooling. However, without notifying me or replying to any of my inquiries they dropped my son from his enrollment in Arise. Public school systems are a joke and the people working there are lazy. I suggest homeschooling your children or saving up for private schooling. Relying on the government agencies to do their job is not an option. Which is a good reason to not vote left.

DPI is impossible to get a hold of. They don't do phone calls. All contact has to be online through a message. I had several times where I asked a question and was not given an answer except to look at the website. I would reply BEGGING someone to PLEASE call and no one ever did. So I had a situation where I was denied a lifetime license because I didn't apply at the right time. This was a 125 charge. So I'm trying to figure out 1. Why was it the wrong time? I met all the qualifications. and 2. Would I get refunded. No one answered any of my questions, \You'll find information here on the website\ and they'd give me a link to a general page that did not answer my question anywhere. I live in Madison, so right after school I went to their building. I walked up to this office demanding to talk to someone. When I finally got to sit down with someone... you ready for this... My application was denied because I applied in December and application for a lifetime license doesn't begin until January. I applied in December to get if off my plate and be ahead of the game and I got denied for that. THEN, I asked if I could get a refund or could that 125 go toward when I apply again literally in 3 weeks. They gave me a HARD no. I couldn't' believe it. I told them they're system should not let people apply for a license that they literally aren't accepting for. I was told, \We can't deny people who want to apply.\ It felt so yucky like they are totally justified in excepting our money because we applied at the wrong time. I looked at EVERYTHING on their website and NOWHERE does it say that someone will not be accepted if the application is submitted before January. It says nothing about not being refunded if you applied at the wrong time. I do NOT support DPI.
